Summer Reading
Summer Reading 2012
The library is pleased to offer a Summer Reading Club for children ages Infant through Young Adult. Summer of 2012's theme is "Dream Big- Read." Check for more information about upcoming programs in the Spring!
How Summer Reading Club Works:
- Participants must read (or have read to them) at least 1 book from the library in order to receive the Summer Reading bag.
- For each library book read, the child will receive a sticker. Children are to keep track of how many books they have read using their posters found inside the Summer Reading Bag.
- Books must be returned inside the library to receive stickers. Books returned in the outside book drop will not be counted.
- Participants are encouraged to read at their reading level.
- We will have a book drawing every Wednesday throughout the Summer. Participants are welcome to enter the drawing once each time they visit the library. Winners will be contacted following the drawing and do not need to be present to win.
- Prizes will also be given away at the Summer Reading Club Picnic. However, you must be present to win these prizes.
